“(Un)conceivable occupation – Łódź and the Łódź region in the first months of German occupation during World War II”

During the meeting we will talk about the changes that Germans introduced into the social and everyday life of the inhabitants of Łódź in the first months of the Nazi occupation. Why Łódź was to be a city of radiant German culture, why it found itself in the territory of the Third Reich, what impact did the settlement of the German population have on the city. How it influenced the spiritual and material culture of Łódź and its image, including the architecture of the City of Four Cultures.
