The Dialogue Centre closely cooperates with, among others, the Polish Association of the Deaf. For members of the Traveller’s Club, which operates at Polish Association of the Deaf, Łódź Department, trips, exhibition visits and meetings are organised. A sign language interpreter is present at selected events organised by our institution. The entries from “The Bałuty Dictionary” parts 1 & 2 are signed out (you can watch them on YouTube channel of the Łódź Dialogue Centre), and “The Bałuty Dictionary 2” has been published in Braille – the book has reached all schools and libraries for the blind and partially sighted in Poland. In addition, a video clip about Jan Karski has been made for the deaf. We have also held meetings about Jewish Łódź for people from the Polish Association of the Blind. We also offer classes suited for children with mental disabilities. Moreover, we provide rich resources that are available on the Internet for our recipients that experience reduced sensory performance; the resources include: 30 e-books, 14 podcasts and a channel on the YouTube platform.
