In 2019, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the birth of Marek Edelman - the last leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, a collaborator of KOR, the Workers' Defense Committee, the "conscience of solidarity". To honour him, the participants of the educational project "Courier FM" created a mobile exhibition about the life of the patron of the Dialogue Center.
The exhibition, entirely created by high school students from Łódź, focuses on the experiences of Marek Edelman during the war – organizing life in ghettos in Poland and the fight in two uprisings in Warsaw. Each board has a quote from Marek Edelman.
The exhibition uses QR code technology so you can follow it yourself, without the help of a guide.
The exhibition consists of 5 double-sided boards with dimensions of 2 m x 1 m.
The "Courier FM" project was co-financed by the Polish History Museum in Warsaw as part of the "Patriotism of Tomorrow" programme.
