I am a graduate of Ethnology and History of Art from the Faculty of Philosophy and History at the University of Lodz, as well as of Postgraduate Studies in Museology at the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the Jagiellonian University.
I’m a museologist, for many years associated with the Central Museum Of Textiles In Łódź as an educator. At The Marek Edelman Dialogue Center I became well acquainted with the multicultural history and the textile industry of Łódź. I've become interested in this subject during a tour guide course. I was also a lecturer, conducting classes combining lectures on the multicultural themes of Łódź and art history with thematic trips, first at postgraduate studies for teachers at Centrum Rozwoju Edukacji dr Beaty Owczarskiej and then at the Centre for the Third Age Education (Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Łodzi).
For several years now I’ve been working as a project and fundraising specialist in institutions such as The Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź or Lodz Centre Of Teacher Training And Vocational Education. I’m responsible for writing funding applications, coordinating, conducting and accounting for projects financed from European funds - mainly in the field of education and culture, or from the funds of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage or other sources.
I’ve been working as a fundraising and account settlement specialist at the Dialogue Center since November 2022. Working at this institution is a perfect combination of my professional experience and my personal passions.
In contradiction to my professional interests, privately I feel at my best in the countryside and on field roads. I’d choose the peaceful regions, where time seems to slow down, over the urban hustle and bustle. I enjoy travelling around Poland, and my ways of relaxing are cooking and gardening.
