A virtual exhibition "MAREK EDELMAN"

The virtual exhibition about Marek Edelman shows the most important moments in his life, which were also the most important moments in the 20th-century history of Poland. The narrator of the exhibition is Marek Edelman himself.

Marek Edelman (1919-2009) was the last commander of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, a doctor, an anti-communist opposition activist, and a social activist involved in the fight for human rights.

In his words - written testimonies, memories, numerous interviews and conversations, the memory of what happened in the past remains. The present day can also see itself in them.

The online exhibition "Marek Edelman" co-financed by the National Center for Culture as part of the of the Culture on the Web program, "Virtual Dialogue Center" project.

The basis for the creation of the virtual exhibition was the exhibition entitled "Marek Edelman. The Man" presented at the Marek Edelman Dialogue Center in Łódź was created as part of the Marek Edelman’s Year.

Opening hours

BUILDING OPENING HOURS 

Monday - Friday from 11 AM to 6 PM
Saturday - Sunday from 12.00 PM to 6 PM

Admission to the building and all exhibitions
is free.

During the opening hours you can visit current exhibitions.
The last entrance to the exhibitions takes place half an hour before the closing of the building.
