The director of the Museum of Independence Traditions in Łódź, Piotr Machlański, and the director of the Marek Edelman Dialogue Center in Łódź, Joanna Podolska, kindly invite you to the celebrations to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the liquidation of the Gypsy camp in the Litzmannstadt Ghetto on 12th January 2016. The celebrations at the Blacksmith’s Shop (at ul. Wojska Polskiego 84) begin at 12.
At 1 pm, at the Dialogue Center, you can see the film Samudaripen – Sam strach by Anna Grażyna Suchocka, TV Romska, together with a lecture and a multimedia presentation ‘The deportation of the Roma and Sinti people to the Litzmannstadt Ghetto’ conducted by Izabela Terela from the Museum of Independence Traditions in Łódź and Andrzej Grzegorczyk from the Museum of the Former German Kulmhof Death Camp in Chełmno on Ner, a branch of the Martyrdom Museum in Żabikowo.
