We invite you to the exhibition ‘The Primer of Empathy’. There you will meet, among others, Ala with her dog As. She will tell you about Alina Margolis-Edelman – a doctor, friend of children, superheroine who helped people all over the world. Her power was empathy.

But what is empathy? And what is it for? It is difficult to learn this from textbooks. Therefore, to explore this superpower, we will take you to a unique playground with Ala. There, we will create a space to observe ourselves and our emotions. We will ask about empathetic attitudes: towards those we think of as ‘others’, towards animals and nature. We will inspire you to play and reflect on empathy at home, on the playground, on the street, in the forest, in the city and in the countryside.

The exhibition ‘The Primer of Empathy’ is a story about how our everyday attitudes influence human relationships and development. It is about how each of us can gain the superpower of empathy and change the world for the better in our own way.

The exhibition was created as part of the celebrations of the YEAR OF ALINA MARGOLIS-EDELMAN. The opening took place on 15 October 2022.
The exhibition has no age restrictions, but we recommend it for children aged 5 to 10.
The exhibition is open during the Dialogue Centre's opening hours, except on days when educational activities are held at the exhibition.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
