To już trzecie wakacje kiedy chodzimy na spacery po Bałutach. W tym roku cykl związany jest ze stuleciem przyłączenia Bałut do Łodzi. Spacerujemy przez wszystkie wtorki lipca i prawie wszystkie sierpnia. Zaczynamy 7 lipca o 17.00 na Rynku Bałuckim (przy ulicy Zgierskiej). This year's series of meetings relates to the hundredth anniversary of the annexation of the Bałuty district to Łódź. The walks will take place every Tuesday in July and almost every Tuesday in August. The series begins on 7th July on the Rynek Bałucki (Bałuty Market) on ul.Zgierska. Kolejna edycja Letniego Festiwalu Filmowego “Polówka” zagościła w tym roku w parku Ocalałych. W każdy poniedziałek przed budynkiem Centrum Dialogu odbędą się pokazy pod hasłem DOOKOŁA KINA. W trakcie poniedziałkowych spotkań zobaczymy filmy z Francji, Szwecji, Izraela, Niemiec, Austrii, Rumunii. W przypadku niepogody pokazy będą przeniesione do sali kinowej Centrum Dialogu. Organizatorem Polówki jest Fundacja Inicjatyw Kulturalnych PLASTER. Pełen program: https://www.facebook.com/events/706718609473511/ . The latest edition of the „Polówka” Summer Film Festival, under the slogan „Around Cinema”, is coming to the Survivors' Park. The screenings shall take place every Monday in front of the building of the Dialogue Center. Viewers will have a chance to watch films from France, Sweden Israel, Germany, Austria and Romania. In case of bad weather the screenings will be moved inside and will take place in the auditorium of the Dialogue Center. Jan Karski (prawdziwe nazwisko Kozielewski) urodził się w Łodzi 24 kwietnia 1914 roku. Był Honorowym Obywatelem Miasta Łodzi, został odznaczony Orderem Orła Białego, medalem Sprawiedliwy Wśród Narodów Świata, a w 2012 roku – pośmiertnie - Medalem Wolności, najwyższym odznaczeniem Stanów Zjednoczonych. Rok 2014 został ogłoszony przez Sejm RP Rokiem Jana Karskiego. Zapraszamy na wystawę Narodowego Centrum Kultury „KARSKI. NIE DAĆ ŚWIATU ZAPOMNIEĆ” w Centrum Dialogu. He was the Honorary Citizen of Łódź, he was decorated with the Order of the White Eagle, Righteous Among the Nations and in 2012 – posthumously – Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award of the United States. 2014 was announced to be the Year of Jan Karski by the Seym of the Republic of Poland. W 70. rocznicę likwidacji Litzmannstadt Getto i w 10. rocznicę powstania Parku Ocalałych powstała wystawa o Ocalałych z Litzmannstadt Getto. Zachęcamy do poznania historii 10 więźniów. Wystawa mieści się w budynku Centrum Dialogu im. Marka Edelmana, można ją oglądać codziennie. We would like to invite you to get to know about 10 stories of people who were in Litzmannstadt Ghetto. The exhibition is located in The Marek Edelman Dialogue Center.
