There is no translation available.

Zapraszamy uczniów i nauczycieli szkół średnich na kolejne spotkanie w ramach EDU–AKCJI 23 października (poniedziałek) o godz. 10:00 do Centrum Dialogu im.

Wykład jest bezpłatny, obowiązują zapisy pod adresem: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

How old is old age? creative workshop (5+)

On November 5, Sunday, at 12:00 pm, we encourage the whole family to participate in a creative workshop entitled "How old is old age?" (5+) on designing old age, conducted in the spirit of theater pedagogy, engaging imagination, intuition, body, voice and group energy.

How do we imagine our future and our old age?

How can we work with the "new old age" in the future today?

Can activating the old/old in ourselves be as exciting as traveling into space?

We will consider what old age is and where we meet it, what we hear about it. We will check if it is possible to talk with old age and what we want to ask it. Using the body, gestures and imagination, we will set in motion fantasies about our futures and old age. We will build a common estate of the future "New Old Age" and invent an estate game for neighbors and neighbors.

The workshop will be led in Polish by Iga Dzięgielewska - cultural education specialist at the Halina and Jan Machulski Ochota Theater in Warsaw. She has worked with TR Warsaw, Children's Art Center in Poznan, Sto Pociech Foundation, Powszechny Theater, Ognisko teatralne "u Machulskich", European Solidarity Center, Nowy Theater in Warsaw, Great Histories Association, Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek, Theater Institute. She is a graduate of cultural studies at Warsaw University.

Light for peace

Light for Peace / November 4, 2023 (Saturday), 6 pm / Schiller's Passage - Pasaż Schillera

There are wars all over the world, and each of them is a reason for fear and concern for the future. There is no continent at the moment that is not engulfed in conflict. That's why we want to demonstrate and call for peace.
In every war, innocent people die and it is difficult to see any hope of stopping the fighting. Societies are becoming increasingly divided and polarized, while forgetting about dialogue and empathy for those who have lost loved ones.
The Łódź of Diversity Coalition invites you to make a symbolic light for peace. The event will be open, apolitical, multicultural and unifying. Let's meet for peace and commemoration of war victims. It will also be an opposition to the hatred and aggressive narrative that floods us.

Plan of the event
18.00 Opening of the meeting
18.10 Statements by clergy of various denominations
18.30 Joint lighting of a symbolic light
19.00 End of the meeting
