I am an Amazon Woman. I work in Łódzki Klub Amazonka (Amazon
Women’s Club Łódź) – a support group for women suffering from
a breast cancer. We show that one can overcome the illness, and
that the effects of treatment are easy to minimise so that one can
figure their lives again. Disease surprises us and it is sudden. It
destroys our dreams, our pursuits and goals. It splits our lives into
what was before the illness, and what will follow it. Most of the
women are shocked by the diagnosis, surgeries and fear of future.
Despite that, we go along the path laughing through tears and
struggling with everyday problems. If you want to get to know my
