At the bottom of the figure: decorative frieze featuring representatives of all social classes:
peasants in rural garb, soldiers and Jews are listening to a Jew playing the dulcimer. The reference
to the character of Jankiel from "Pan Tadeusz" by Adam Mickiewicz is clear. The figure is also
decorated with a shield bearing a crowned eagle supported by two lions, while in front of the
musician the artist placed an impressive menorah.
In French: "This text is an exact translation of the original Latin text done in Paris in December
1928."
