Żółta gwiazda i czerwony krzyż Arnolda Mostowicza to
zbiór reportaży dotyczący przeżyć autora z okresu II wojny
światowej, wspomnienia z getta i obozów. Jego książka należy
do najważniejszych świadectw tego okresu. Została wydana
w 1988 r., a ćwierć wieku później – w stulecie urodzin pisarza
– Centrum Dialogu im. Marka Edelmana wznowiło ją. Powstał
też audiobook z nagraniem reportaży. Bohaterem jego
wspomnień był też m.in. łódzki gangster, któremu Mostowicz
poświęcił powieść pt. Ballada o Ślepym Maksie
Yellow Star and the Red Cross by Arnold Mostowicz is a
collection of reports concerning the author’s experience of the
Second World War, memories of the ghettos and camps. His
book is one of the most important testimonies of the period.
It was released in 1988, a quarter of a century later – in the
centenary of the birth of the writer – the Marek Edelman
Dialogue Center resumed it. An audiobook recording of the
reports was also made. The hero of his memoirs was also,
among others, a Lodz gangster, to whom Mostowicz devoted
a novel called The Ballad of Blind Maxi
