In Michał Bukojemski's film, he also talks about human solidarity at the Łódź ghetto, the nightmare of the death march, his post-war activity at the Polish United Workers' Party, his many years of work at the Polityka weekly magazine and his involvement in the establishment of the POLIN Museum. As a participant of the events and their observer, he leads the viewer through the decades of the Polish-Jewish history.
