I am from Łódź, from Widzew, but I spent my childhood in Chojny (a district in Łódź). I have always liked to work with technical things and I finished school in this direction. This is also what I have been doing since 2013 at the Dialogue Center.
Member of the Society for the Preservation of Historical Monuments in Łódź, whose activities led to the entry of a forgotten and devastated 19th century Evangelical cemetery in Łódź into the communal and provincial records of historical monuments. Founder of Rowerowa Łódź, an informal group promoting bicycles as an environmentally friendly means of urban transport, later transferred to the Fenomen Foundation, which to this day continues its activities promoting and popularising bicycles for travel.
Communitarian, through his website and community activities, focuses on improving the quality of life for the residents of the Widzew-East district. Founder of the website Schrony w Łodzi (eng. Shelters in Łódź), which introduces the citizens to the activities of civil defence and promotes knowledge about the above-mentioned issues as well as about World War II and the “Cold War” period.
For me, the Dialogue Center stands for two things: people – extraordinary, full of passion and commitment; a place – open, full of tolerance and acceptance. Working at the Dialogue Center is a certain kind of challenge for me, which gives me new opportunities and expectations every day. Through my work at the Dialogue Center I have opened myself up to very different, sometimes controversial, but also well-known and respected people.
