On May 15, in the City Hall of the Municipality of Łódź, a ceremony will be held during which Professor Rudolf Sarközi will receive the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Polish Republic.

The Museum Night will be held on May, 18/19. On a Saturday, at 6 p.m., a record number of 42 institutions spread throughout the entire city will be open to visitors.

On the first day of spring, Colorful Tolerance will be celebrated for the thirteenth time. The finale will be held on March 21 at 12:00 at the Survivors' Park.

On March 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Amos Oz will receive the honorary doctorate from the University of Łódź (Venue: Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz, at 8/12 Kopcińskiego).
